Romancecar to Hakone-Yumoto. Visit Hakone Open-Air Museum, then to Gora's famed ryokan.
Hakone → Izu
Lake Ashi cruise, then private car to Shuzenji in Izu. Walk the Bamboo Path, check in to Asaba.
Izu → Arima
Morning Shuzenji stroll. Shinkansen to Kobe, then Arima Onsen. Evening Kobe beef teppanyaki.
Arima → Beppu
Morning in Arima's onsen town. Fly to Oita. Beppu Jigoku Meguri (hell tour) and jigoku-mushi cooking.
