Philosophy

Why choose Aman

Architecture

Architecture that blends into the landscape

Buildings that draw on the materials and construction of each place stand quietly within nature and the townscape. The view outside the window becomes part of your stay.

Privacy

Calm protected by a limited number of rooms

Because the number of rooms is limited, the property is always peaceful and you rarely come across other guests. The pool and spa can be used at leisure.

Culture

Touching local life

Local culture, food and activities in nature can be built into your stay. Time spent beyond the property is also an important part of the journey.

Around the World

Aman around the world

Aman properties stand in very different places, from a gorge in Bali to the Utah desert, the canals of Venice and the old capitals of Japan. By region, we introduce in detail the properties we are most often asked about.

From Phuket, where Aman's history began, to the gorges of Bali, the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan and the Angkor temples. Aman in Asia centres on stays that stay close to the sea, faith and history.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How far ahead should I inquire?+

We recommend inquiring early, as soon as your timing is set. Rooms tend to be scarce over the year-end holidays, long holiday weekends and the cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons, so inquiring a few months ahead gives peace of mind.

How much does it cost?+

Rates vary greatly with the property, season, room type and number of nights, so we prepare an individual quote after hearing your wishes.

Can you also arrange flights and transfers?+

Yes. You can consult us about everything together: flights, airport transfers, and reservations for activities and meals on site.

Can I combine several Aman properties?+

Yes. We can propose journeys visiting the three properties in Japan, or itineraries combining an overseas Aman with nearby cities, including how to get around.

Can you arrange an Aman that is not on this page?+

This page introduces only some of the properties. Please feel free to ask us about properties that are not listed.
